Today, the ASSISTANT project has run for a total of 11 months since its launch in November 2020.
After the various deliverables concerning the management of the project, the ASSISTANT partners tackled the problem of specifying the tools (tool requirements) that will be developed in the project, in particular the data fabric (which is a system that provides a unified architecture for data management and provisioning) and the collection of intelligent digital twins for manufacturing process planning, production planning and scheduling, and real-time control. This specification phase has just been completed on Friday, September 10, 2021 with a technical review meeting with the European Commission that took place in a very good atmosphere. On the other hand, in the first newsletter we also announced a special session of the ASSISTANT project at the Advances in Production Management Systems (APMS 2021) conference, which took place from September 5 to 9, 2021.
